How long can homemade applesauce be left unrefrigerated?

I made homemade baby food applesauce last night, left it out on the counter to cool and forgot about it until this morning (about 8 hours). I used apples, water and a dash of cinnamon. Is it still safe to feed to my baby?

Knowing how to make applesauce myself, I know there is nothing wrong with the applesauce you made. In fact, if it is placed in sealed jars, you can keep it out of a fridge for weeks as long as it is not placed in a warm area.(Ours is kept in the basement)

Monday, Jan. 16: No school.

Tuesday, Jan. 17: Grilled cajun chicken sandwich, taco salad, glazed carrots, pizza line, sub line, salad bar, milk.

Wednesday, Jan. 18: Hamburger, pickle slices, hot dog, natural cut potato wedges, pizza line, sub line, salad bar, milk.
