I read Saucer: The Conquest , before I read Saucer (the original book) and I did not know all the history about the main characters, but it did not take away from the book. Saucer: The Conquest is written by Stephen Coonts and it is a bit different from some of his other books, but I have to say that this is a FUN book to read.
