Should I request a walker for my baby or an exersaucer??

I have showers coming very soon and wanted to know whether I should request a walker or an exersaucer for my baby. I don't have any stairs in my house so I don't have to worry about that.
Ummm,... when I say "request" I mean for my gift
There is some concern that walkers, exersaucers, and jumpers can delay walking or cause developmental problems such as tip-toe walking. However generally that is when they are overused.
