Teething process is painful for both parent and baby

No parent likes to see their child in pain.
That is why it can be so hard to watch a child teethe, as it is a painful process you can do little about. The teething process can last on and off from three months to three years. For some lucky children, teething can be quite painless. For others it can be an excruciating procedure. Most children fall somewhere in the middle.
Babies usually begin teething between four and seven months, with most cutting their first tooth at six months. However, every baby is different so don’t be surprised if you begin to see a tooth as early as three months or as late as a year.
The first two teeth to appear are usually the two bottom front teeth. About four to eight weeks later, the top front two teeth push through. Next are the two teeth on either side of the front teeth, on the bottom and then on the top. After this, children usually cut their first set of molars at the back, and then slowly fill the gaps. And by age three, your child should have a mouth full of 20 primary teeth.
